Buying your Council House/Right to Buy

If you are a council/public sector tenant you may be eligible to purchase your property under the ‘Right to Buy’ scheme.

There are certain conditions that must be met in order for you to be eligible. If you are eligible and wish to but your property we can advise on the implications of buying your property and explain to you the potential discounts that may be applicable.

We will liaise with the council for you and explain and issues that could effect you should you purchase the property and then wish to sell it on in future.

We have acted for many people throughout Ormskirk, Burscough, Southport, Mawdesley, Wigan, Skelmersdale, Parbold and across Lancashire and Merseyside in relation to them buying their council house under the right to buy scheme. Our specialist conveyancing solicitors will be able to help you with your council house purchase.
